The role

Key responsibilities
- Loading, unloading and moving stock safely
- Picking and packing goods accurately
- Checking items against relevant paperwork
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Following site procedures, health and safety guidance and supervisor instructions
- Supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties as required
Skills and qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is useful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and able to maintain a consistent work rate
- Physically able to carry out manual handling duties
- Good understanding of workplace safety
