- Secure loads appropriately and report any issues
- Complete delivery paperwork and relevant records accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, site teams and transport colleagues
- Follow road safety, company and legal requirements at all times
Skills and qualifications
- Relevant HGV Class 1 driving entitlement
- Driver CPC and tachograph card, where legally required
- Good understanding of road safety and driver hours regulations
- Safe, responsible and professional approach to driving
- Reliable attendance and good timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions
- Clear communication and a helpful attitude
- Physically able to carry out routine vehicle and load checks
