Key responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and responsibly
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections
- Carry out routine vehicle and safety checks
- Load, secure and unload goods safely
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Follow site, road safety and company procedures
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Skills and qualifications
- Valid licence to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Experience in a similar driving or delivery role
- Good knowledge of safe driving practices
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage time effectively
- Physically able to assist with loading and unloading
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A professional approach to customers, colleagues and other road users
