The role
An opportunity is available for an HGV Class 2 Driver to undertake night driving duties from the Batley area. You will help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining a professional standard of service.
Key responsibilities
- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Completing scheduled night-time deliveries and collections
- Carrying out routine vehicle and load checks
- Following road safety, transport and site procedures
- Completing delivery paperwork and other required records
- Communicating professionally with site contacts and customers
- Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly
Skills and qualifications
- Relevant HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
- Safe, responsible and confident driving style
- Good knowledge of road safety and legal driving requirements
- Reliable timekeeping and a flexible approach to night work
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Professional communication skills
- Previous commercial driving experience is preferred
