Job Description
Workchain is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver for an ongoing position based in Ashton-under-Lyne. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for regular weekday work, consistent hours and weekly pay. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods and materials safely.
- Transporting goods between designated locations.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Following all road traffic laws and driving regulations.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and well-maintained.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Van Driver is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A reliable, punctual and responsible approach to work.
- The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
