Key responsibilities
- Driving a car or van safely and responsibly
- Completing multi-drop delivery routes, typically involving more than 10 stops
- Loading, unloading and moving goods by hand
- Checking deliveries and ensuring items reach the correct locations
- Providing a polite and professional service at each stop
- Following agreed delivery schedules, road safety requirements and workplace procedures
- Keeping the vehicle and delivery area clean and organised
Skills and experience
- A full, valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle used
- Previous delivery or multi-drop driving experience is desirable
- Comfortable with handball work and regularly lifting or moving goods
- Good time management and route-planning skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Professional communication and a customer-focused approach
- Good knowledge of Amesbury and the surrounding area would be an advantage
