The Role
As a Loader, you'll work alongside the driver and crew collecting household waste and recycling throughout the local area. Your duties will include:
- Collecting household waste and recycling bins safely and efficiently
- Loading refuse and recycling onto collection vehicles
- Returning bins to residents' properties
- Working as part of a close-knit team to complete collection routes
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Providing an essential service to the local community
What We're Looking For
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Punctual and able to start work at 05:30
- Previous experience in labouring, waste collection, warehouse or other physically demanding roles is advantageous, but not essential
