We’re partnering with a market-leading European manufacturer and distributor to hire a Finance Business Partner into a high-visibility, commercially focused role with genuine influence over operational performance and cost control.

The Opportunity

You’ll sit at the heart of the logistics function, supporting warehousing, transport, inventory, and third-party logistics (3PL) activity. This is a role where you’ll go beyond the numbers, providing insight, challenge, and direction to drive better decision‑making and improve efficiency across the operation. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to provide financial insight and analysis.
  • Deliver budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support cost control, performance tracking, and KPI reporting across logistics operations.
  • Provide meaningful challenge to drive efficiency, cost‑saving initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Review and challenge 3PL performance, costs, and contractual outputs against SLAs.
  • Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and finance.
  • Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and accuracy across all activity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (or equivalent experience).
  • Background in finance business partnering, FP&A, or management accounting.
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and non‑finance teams.
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and detail‑driven.
