Distribution Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing and logistics operation in High Wycombe.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with a strong transport and warehouse background looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  • Supervising the day-to-day distribution team and leading by example
  • Ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and ready for dispatch
  • Overseeing the loading of vehicles, containers and overseas shipments
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products are damage-free
  • Managing paperwork, stock movements and transport documentation
  • Supporting drivers and customers with collections and loading
  • Monitoring Health & Safety procedures and investigating any loading discrepancies
  • Managing agency staff, completing timesheets and ensuring team performance standards are met

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role
  • Previous transport and warehouse experience, including vehicle loading
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating workloads
