Workchain is currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers Days and Nights for our client based in Rochdale.
Pay Rate: £17 - £18 per hour depends on shift
Key Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV 1 vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Responsible for accurate completion of administrative tasks, including logbooks, delivery notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and promptly report any faults or defects.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with colleagues, customers, and the general public.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Hold a valid HGV 1 license.
- 2 years of experience asa Class 1 Driver
- A good understanding of current transportation legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable and professional approach to work.
