FLT Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) - Ripley, Derbyshire

Pay: £13.50 - £17.00 per hour

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently while supporting the wider logistics team. This is a varied role where you'll spend the majority of your shift operating forklift trucks, alongside general warehouse duties when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.
• Moving stock between warehouse locations.
• Putting stock away into designated storage areas.
• Picking customer orders accurately using FLT equipment.
• Supplying production or dispatch areas with materials.
• Completing pre-use vehicle safety inspections.
• Working to productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general warehouse duties when required.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid external Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
• A valid external Reach Truck licence.
• Previous experience operating both truck types within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• The ability to work rotating shifts.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

Rotating weekly:

• Early Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm
• Late Shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Pay & Benefits

• £13.50 per hour starting rate.
