Are you a reliable and experienced HGV class 1 Driver looking for on-going work in Burton? Workchain has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client's transport operation working for a general haulage firm based in Burton.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting general haulage/palletised goods on curtain sider HGV vehicles to other businesses.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- 2 to 6 deliveries/collections on average daily.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Complete delivery/pick-up paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driver's license with a maximum of 6 points, with a valid CPC and Tacho.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude.
Hours of work
06:00 – 07:00 starts Monday to Friday, averaging at 9 to 12 hours daily and flexibility for occasional nights out (when required). Weekend work also available at inflated pay rate.
