About the Role
We are currently recruiting a reliable and professional 7.5T Delivery Driver to join a growing logistics operation based in High Wycombe. This role involves delivering bespoke materials to customers across both local and long-distance routes. The successful candidate will complete 7–8 deliveries per day and must be comfortable with physically demanding work, as manual handling will be required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated driver who takes pride in providing a professional delivery service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle while complying with all road and transport regulations
- Complete 7–8 deliveries per day across local and longer-distance routes
- Load and unload bespoke materials, ensuring items are handled carefully and delivered in excellent condition
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and use tachograph systems correctly
- Provide a professional and courteous service when dealing with customers
- Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements
- Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on driving licence (no major endorsements)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
