The Role
This role is responsible for designing and executing a high-impact, multi-channel demand generation strategy that builds awareness, drives qualified inbound demand and supports revenue growth across the full funnel. You’ll bring deep hands-on expertise across PPC, SEO, email marketing and digital demand tactics, with a strong understanding of how HR buyers – and with our new solution, Operational leaders – research, evaluate and purchase technology. Working within a small but beautifully formed marketing team of five, and together with Sales and Customer Experience colleagues, you’ll translate WorkBuzz’s value proposition into compelling campaigns that engage decision-makers, generate high-quality leads and progress opportunities through to conversion. This is a specialist role for a commercially minded digital marketer who loves executing and performance optimisation, co-creating strategy with the team. This role offers opportunity for you to build on existing experience and apply to several different ICPs. We offer mentorship, training resources, and the opportunity to influence and shape our go-to-market strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and optimise multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads for WorkBuzz’s employee listening platform, primarily in the UK market, with a future focus on international audiences.
- Own the day-to-day management and performance of paid digital channels and our digital agency, including PPC across Google, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms as well as assuming central leadership on HubSpot CRM deployment.
- Manage and improve SEO audiences, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and collaboration on content creation.
- Build, deliver and optimise email marketing and lead nurture programmes tailored to HR and People decision-makers across different sectors.
- Adapt campaign messaging, targeting and offers to ensure relevance across ICPs.
- Create, test and optimise landing pages, creatives and calls-to-action to maximise conversion rates.
- Alignment with Sales and Customer Experience on pipeline goals, understanding and translating trends in performance and engagement.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance by market, using analytics and HubSpot CRM to improve lead quality, conversion and ROI.
- Run continuous testing and optimisation across channels, audiences and geographies to improve demand performance.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and the Product team to translate messaging into effective demand-driving assets for multiple ICPs.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure strong lead quality, clear handover and feedback across pipelines.
- Together with the GTM team, evolve the brand positioning and ICPs as we move into a broader portfolio.
Key Requirements/ About You
- 3–6 years’ experience in a hands-on demand generation or digital marketing within B2B SaaS or a technology-led environment.
- A genuinely hands-on, delivery-focused mindset — this role is about building, launching, testing and optimising campaigns, not managing teams.
- Strong, practical experience owning and optimising PPC, including budgets, targeting, testing and performance improvement.
- Solid working knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and collaborating with content teams to drive organic growth.
- Experience building, running and improving email marketing and lead nurture programmes.
- Proven ability to execute multi-channel demand campaigns and understand how channels contribute to pipeline and revenue, not just leads.
- Data-driven, with experience analysing campaign performance and using insights to improve conversion rates, CPL/CPA and lead quality.
- Proficient and practiced experience working within a HubSpot CRM.
- Experience marketing to professional decision-makers, ideally within HR, People, Employee Experience or similar B2B audiences.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, compelling campaign messaging and emails.
- Thoughtful application of AI in campaign and messaging design and creation, combining personal expertise and creativity driving AI’s content support to differentiate communications.
