About WorkBuzz

WorkBuzz was founded in 2018, has raised £12.5m funding and has 400 clients, including iconic brands like Five Guys, Butlins and Virgin. Our mission is to lead a new era of employee listening: AI-first, beyond surveys and turning employee voice into competitive advantage. Our AI-powered platform makes it easy for mid and large-sized companies to gather real-time employee feedback and uncover what truly matters.

The Role

We're looking for a tech-savvy, AI-forward Analyst to join our People Science team, turning WorkBuzz employee listening data into clear, accurate and useful insight for clients. This role is for someone who actively seeks smarter ways to work, freeing up time for the deeper analysis, thinking and storytelling that truly adds value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn data into insight at pace
  • Produce accurate analysis, charts, tables and slides from employee survey results for use in client reports and presentations
  • Ensure standard outputs including demographic cuts, trend comparisons and summary tables, following established templates and methods, and using automation to increase speed and consistency where possible
  • Support more advanced analysis, such as driver analysis, segmentation analysis and performance linkage with guidance from the Lead Analyst
  • Ensure appropriate checks to ensure accuracy of all outputs before they’re shared

Support great client delivery

  • Work with People Science Consultants to understand specific client needs, outputs required and delivery timelines
  • Ensure report decks are populated with well-formatted, accurate data summaries, flagging interesting patterns or anomalies along the way
  • Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests quickly and reliably, ensuring consultants are equipped to do their best work
  • Use and help maintain reusable presentation templates, chart formats and analysis approaches to support consistency across client deliverables.

Support improvements in outcomes and efficiencies

  • Actively use and champion AI tools to accelerate analysis, charting, summarisation and quality checking
  • Identify repetitive or manual tasks in the reporting workflow in the development of smarter, automated approaches
  • Help establish and document AI‑assisted methods that the wider team can adopt and build on
  • Follow, and where possible improve, documented methods, quality checks and analytical assumptions to ensure outputs are accurate and consistent with WorkBuzz standards
  • Contribute to reusable templates, automated workflows and shared knowledge that make the whole team more effective

Platform knowledge

  • Build a strong working knowledge of the WorkBuzz platform, including survey setup, data mapping, reporting structures and dashboards
  • Share feedback, recurring issues and improvement ideas from day‑to‑day analysis work to help improve reporting and workflows.
  • Support user testing of new reporting and analysis features when required
  • Keep up to date with platform releases and new reporting or analysis capabilities, applying them in client work where appropriate

Requirements for role

  • Some experience in an analyst, insights, research or data‑focused role, or a strong academic background with hands‑on data analysis experience from placements, internships or project work
  • Degree in a relevant subject such as psychology, organisational psychology, business, economics, statistics, data science or adjacent
  • Solid quantitative analysis skills, comfortable working accurately with survey results, trends, demographic cuts and comparisons
  • Enthusiasm for AI tools and automation; you’re keen to experiment and find better ways to work
  • Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as Claude or similar, applied to real analytical or reporting tasks
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and charting; strong PowerPoint skills to ensure clear and polished client slides
  • Genuine attention to detail and a critical eye when reviewing outputs
  • Clear written communication, ensuring complex findings are summarised simply and accurately
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
  • Awareness of data protection, confidentiality and responsible AI use when handling people data

Desirable

  • Experience working with employee survey, engagement or HR data and an interest in employee engagement, culture and the employee experience agenda
  • Experience with BI or data visualisation tools
  • Some experience of producing client‑facing reports, charts or presentation materials

Benefits

  • Our culture – WorkBuzz is fast‑paced, dynamic and rewarding. Everyone has a voice and the smartest idea wins.
  • Work at the frontier - Dialogue is genuinely new territory. You'll be shaping how AI transforms employee listening, not maintaining someone else's roadmap.
  • Clear purpose – be part of building something which matters.
  • Be the best you can be – we will invest in your development and help you grow.
  • Competitive salary, share options, private health insurance and a range of other benefits
  • Flexible/hybrid working – the opportunity to split your time between home working and our Milton Keynes office.
