Designed and built for banking, Identity is the security at the centre of the AI-powered Digital Banking platform from Backbase.

We bring together the best technologies, security standards, and fintechs into an integrated platform—responsible for securing the daily digital banking needs of millions of people across the globe.

As a Group / Lead Product Manager for Backbase Identity, you’ll drive the evolution of our Digital Identity platform as a critical element of the Backbase Agentic and Digital Banking offering.

You will be a product expert for the capabilities, journeys and technologies that secure our digital banking solution, from biometrics and FIDO2, to the best-in-class fintechs we integrate, across the complete user lifecycle.

It is your job to understand the needs of Backbase customers, and manage your set of capabilities through the product lifecycle: from defining new requirements to creating the first prototype, to launching the new features with real customers in production.

You will take ownership of a critical product line within our Digital Identity domain – taking overall strategic accountability for our complex identity portfolio, defining a 12‑month roadmap, driving multi‑squad execution, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients and executives.

You are a customer‑obsessed product leader who seamlessly blends strategic vision with deep technical, business, and UX know‑how.

You bring a startup mentality to scaling enterprise software, maintain a relentless focus on rapid feedback loops, and excel at developing the next generation of PM talent

People: Guide, coach, and mentor Product Managers within your domain.

You’ll help them translate higher-level Value Stream strategies into valuable business outcomes, streamline scope, and focus on what not to work on. (For Group level: You will directly hire, build, and manage a high-performing PM team).

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years (Lead PM) to 8+ years (Group PM) of product leadership experience in B2B / enterprise software environments.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, or directly managing Product Managers and guiding cross‑functional agile delivery teams.
  • Execution: Demonstrated ability to manage 12+ month roadmaps, run lean startup validation practices, and handle complex cross-team program delivery.
  • Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of authentication, security technologies, and associated industry standards would be seen as a strong benefit
  • Industry Focus: Experience in digital banking, fintech, or complex enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.
