This role is focused on leading the successful implementation of the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform across dealerships in the UK and internationally. As a Training and Implementation Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from initial discovery and planning through to go-live and follow-up support. You’ll work closely with customers, guiding them through the implementation process while ensuring projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and with clear commercial impact. This role suits someone who combines strong project management capability with excellent communication skills and a passion for working directly with customers in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle implementations of the Pinewood platform across dealership customers
- Facilitate initial project meetings to understand customer requirements and define implementation scope
- Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, including timelines and resource allocation
- Manage project risks and ensure issues are identified and resolved proactively
- Deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders, including customers and internal leadership
- Conduct on-site consultancy visits, including set-up, live week support, and follow-up sessions
- Support and deliver training sessions to ensure effective system adoption
- Ensure all project documentation and internal systems are kept accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to Pinewood standards
- Lead and support team members, including conducting 1-2-1s, setting objectives, and driving performance
- Represent Pinewood professionally to customers, promoting company values and best practices
- Stay up to date with automotive industry trends and evolving customer needs
Requirements:
- Strong project management experience, ideally within software implementation or consultancy environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience working within the motor trade or automotive technology sector
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong organisational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach
- Confident, self-motivated, and able to lead by example
- Experience mentoring or managing team members is advantageous
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and general IT systems
- Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification is desirable
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (UK and internationally)
