About the role

You’ll be part of a global team focused on transformation strategy for banks.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help shape client value propositions, lead strategic initiatives, and drive delivery across complex transformation programs.

In addition, you will play a pivotal role in building and deepening relationships with global strategic accounts, contributing to business development and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead finance transformation workstreams for banking clients, from diagnostic to execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive sales growth and business development, building long-term relationships with key global clients and contributing to revenue expansion.
  • Work with global strategic accounts, shaping client agendas and driving engagement at senior levels.
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable roadmaps and innovative, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborate across functions (product, delivery, architecture, and technology) to ensure holistic transformation outcomes.
  • Engage with C-level stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership on banking performance, risk, and transformation.
  • Contribute to internal capability building, team development, and evolution of our finance transformation offering.
  • Bring subject matter expertise on bank steering (KPIs, accounting, performance management) and financial transformation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting with a strong analytical foundation and a proven track record of driving complex initiatives.
  • Extensive finance for banks expertise, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive trends.
  • Strong financial steering knowledge, including KPIs, accounting principles, and performance management.
  • Hands-on experience in financial transformation, covering process redesign, operating model evolution, and system implementation.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic change initiatives and navigate operational finance environments (e. g., controlling, reporting, planning).
  • Risk management expertise, with a demonstrated ability to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks in transformation contexts.
  • High tech affinity, comfortable with digital tools, data models, and transformation platforms.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
