We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at our Ossett site. In this role, you will ensure ingredients and packaging materials are available to support production, working closely with suppliers, procurement, and logistics partners. You will play a key role in managing inventory levels, supporting customer service targets, and coordinating import and export activities to keep our supply chain running efficiently.

What will I be doing?

  • Coordinate the ordering and delivery of ingredients to ensure production requirements are met.
  • Manage supplier schedules and packaging call-offs to maintain a reliable supply of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels to balance product availability with stockholding and cost targets.
  • Work closely with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to support efficient supply chain operations.
  • Support the achievement of customer service targets through effective supply planning and coordination.
  • Ensure import and export activities comply with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with customs clearance processes and resolve customs-related issues.
  • Identify and communicate supply chain risks or disruptions, supporting corrective actions where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and efficiency.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Experience in material planning, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or manufacturing and/or experience in customs, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or international trade administration.
  • Understanding of import/export documentation.
  • Understanding of MRP and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
