What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
- Preparing for and maintaining Ofsted registration and compliance
- Developing and leading a high-performing team
- Creating a positive culture focused on outcomes and safeguarding
- Maintaining high standards of care and practice
- Building positive relationships with local authorities and professionals
- Managing budgets, safeguarding, staffing, and occupancy
- Driving continuous improvement and quality assurance
- Ensuring readiness for Ofsted inspections and achieving strong outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Essential
- Experience within children's residential care
- Experience supporting children with SEMH needs
- Sound knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Leadership or management experience within a residential childcare setting
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Desirable
- Existing Registered Manager experience
- Deputy Manager looking to step into registration
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
- History of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
