Trade Nation is a global CFD and spread betting brokerage operating across multiple regulated jurisdictions. We build the platforms, back-office systems and data infrastructure that let traders act with confidence and let the business operate with integrity at scale. We're hiring a Product Manager for our Ops, Governance & Compliance vertical — the product surface where regulatory obligation, operational efficiency and data integrity meet. You'll work across the back-office systems, data flows and integrations that support governance, compliance, risk and operational processes to achieve the product vertical’s aims: high regulatory compliance across our licensed jurisdictions, operational efficiency through automation, and a clean, single-source customer database. This is a role with room to grow. You'll own delivery within the vertical from day one and grow into full ownership of its roadmap and outcomes, partnering closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Finance stakeholders.

Who we are

Trade Nation is a global CFD and spread betting broker. We help traders make better decisions through clear market insights, transparent pricing and fairer approach to trading. Since 2014, we’ve grown into a market-leading, low-cost broker with our headquarters in London and offices across Europe, South Africa, Asia-Pacific, and key offshore regions including the Caribbean and Indian Ocean. Our platform is available in 14 languages, making it accessible to traders worldwide. Built on transparency and trust, and driven by our people, our focus is simple: helping customers trade more effectively. We do that by keeping costs low, cutting unnecessary complexity and using technology to put traders first.

Our commitments to each other

  • We have each other’s backs: There when we need each other the most.
  • We challenge each other: Be more creative, more curious, more bold.
  • We thrive together: Taking our work to the next level.
  • We form strong bonds: Through team building and social events.
  • We don’t judge: Instead, we teach and are open to learning.
  • We step up: Taking ownership and supporting each other to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of features and improvements within the vertical, partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners and Technical Squad through the product development cycle (Ideation → Planning → Definition & Design → Development → Launch).
  • Translate regulatory obligations and operational needs from GRC, Finance and regional compliance leads into clear, testable product requirements.
  • Identify high-cost manual processes (e.g. reconciliations, withdrawals, case handling) and ship automation that delivers measurable efficiency gains.
  • Contribute to data-integrity work toward a clean, single-source customer record.
  • Lead & shape the vertical's roadmap, bringing prioritisation calls to the Roadmap Committee and continuous improvement backlog.
  • Build trusted working relationships with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Finance stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor metrics for the work you ship, reporting delivery and risk status clearly.
  • Grow toward full ownership of the vertical's roadmap, trade-offs and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in product management, with a track record of shipping regulated B2C products.
  • Experience in a regulated, data-heavy or operationally complex environment — regulated fintech, payments, neobanking, crypto, or complex e-commerce with compliance exposure.
  • Comfortable treating regulatory and operational requirements as a core input, with the appetite to go deep on a complex domain.
  • Able to reason about data flows, integrations and data quality, and to define metrics that matter.
  • Strong stakeholder skills with non-product functions (Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance), and the directness to make and defend a call.
  • Organised and delivery-focused, energised by turning messy manual processes into clean automated ones.
  • Growth mindset - ready to grow into owning a product vertical, its roadmap and its outcomes.

Preferred requirements

  • Direct financial-services, brokerage or CFD/spread-betting experience.
  • Familiarity with KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, or regulatory reporting regimes.
  • Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Hands-on experience working with back-office platforms and client management systems.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, and discretionary annual bonus.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Life Insurance, Critical Illness & Income Protection cover.
  • Active Lifestyle allowance.
  • Annual leave above minimum entitlement.
  • Up to 3 weeks allowance to work in any location.
  • Enhanced parental leave packages.
