About the role: We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of whole-of-market mortgage advice experience who thrives on solving complex cases and delivering exceptional outcomes. Experience in protection advice is advantageous but not essential — we’ll support you to grow this side of your expertise. This role will suit a confident self-starter who enjoys new challenges, adapts quickly, and wants to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our mortgage business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advice: Provide high-quality, compliant, whole-of-market mortgage & protection advice to clients across a wide range of needs.
- Client Focus: Conduct virtual client meetings to understand individual goals and recommend tailored mortgage solutions, whilst delivering an exceptional end-to-end client experience and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Mortgage Support Team to ensure smooth processing of client applications.
- Business Development: Maintain and develop strong relationships with key referrers, ensuring regular updates and excellent communication, as well as identifying new opportunities to grow referral networks and contribute to the wider business strategy.
- Business Growth: Play an active role in shaping the direction and success of NOVA Wealth’s mortgage & protection business as we continue to scale.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant qualification to be able to give mortgage advice in the UK (e.g. CeMAP / Certificate in Mortgage Advice).
- Extensive experience in mortgage broking and operations, with a proven track record of delivering great customer outcomes in a high volume mortgages business.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Experience presenting webinars and building relationships for business development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving operational excellence.
Highly desirable (but non-essential):
- Relevant qualification to be able to give protection advice in the UK (e.g. Certificate in protection, R05 protection advice), with experience in giving protection advice.
- Experience in a scale-up business (0-100 employees).
- Experience presenting webinars and building relationships for business development.
