Huda Beauty is looking for a driven and highly engaged Assistant Trade Marketing Manager to deliver best-in-class trade marketing across selective European retailers. This role will lead the execution of global marketing strategies locally, driving brand awareness, footfall, engagement, and sales through impactful trade, brand, and product activations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a robust trade marketing plan, ensuring timely and flawless execution.
- Partner closely with the Commercial Team to design and deliver impactful marketing activations, aligned with global brand guidelines.
- Liaise with retailers, internal stakeholders, and global teams to secure opportunities and coordinate initiatives that maximize brand visibility and sales.
- Collaborate with the Head of Trade Marketing & Consumer Engagement to proactively recommend localization strategies across product, pricing, and go-to-market approaches.
- Brief, manage, and oversee the adaptation and development of regional marketing materials, including artworks, emailers, media creatives, retailers-exclusive GWPs, gift wrap, and seasonal boxes.
- Responsible for the regional product assortment and kits offer, ensuring it is competitive and meets retailer needs.
- Lead internal launch reporting for your dedicated category, leveraging sales data and cross-functional insights to extract learnings and inform future plans.
Assets & Content
- Ensure all trade marketing initiatives and locally produced materials consistently reflect Huda Beauty’s brand identity and core values.
- Brief in and manage exclusive social content and asset development for your retailers, including NPD launches and exclusive activations in collaboration with global teams.
Beauty Boxes
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on Beauty Box initiatives managing negotiations and execution across logistics, contracts, samples, marketing exposure, assets, and copy.
- Evaluate Beauty Boxes performance, tracking social activity and consolidating key learnings to optimize future participation.
Budget Management
- Monitor and control marketing spend by activity in line with approved budgets, maintaining accurate budget trackers.
- Raise purchase orders ahead of activity execution and liaise with suppliers and Finance to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
General
- Present at seasonal retailer strategy meetings and actively contribute to internal cross-functional meetings, documenting key actions and ensuring follow-up.
- Coordinate with Global teams on sample and comp orders.
- Manage product requests for campaigns, photoshoots, and social activations.
- Support ad hoc projects as required by business needs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of beauty industry experience is a must, preferably in make-up.
- Strong Retail and Trade marketing experience with knowledge of UK and European Retailers.
- Omni-channel/forward thinking.
- Good balance of strategic and operational, consumer-centric marketing experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be organized, rigorous, detail-oriented, and self-directed.
- Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- “Can do” attitude.
- Strong Excel Skills, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office; Photoshop or Illustrator a plus.
