Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Aircraft Waste Removal colleagues to join a well-respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport.

Please note: Successful applicants must hold a Valid UK Driving Licence. Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.

What’s on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
  • Shift Timing: Day Shift - 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
  • Weekly pay (every Friday).
  • Temp to Perm (performance-based).
  • Free staff car parking.

Key Duties:

  • Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service to cabin crew and airline staff.
  • Collect waste and recycling directly from aircraft, ensuring prompt and efficient removal.
  • Carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks to support operational needs.
  • Correctly segregate waste and cleaning materials in line with recycling and environmental guidelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with both airline and airport policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment at all times.
  • Report any safety concerns, hazards, or irregularities immediately.

Shifts available:

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required. This could be subject to change!

  • 4 on 4 off
  • Day 1: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
  • Day 2: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
  • Day 3: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
  • Day 4: 11:30 am to 18:00 pm
  • OFF OFF OFF OFF

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpretational skills.
  • Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of (current) Address
  • 5 Year Address History

Successful candidates will be required to complete an Access NI following their interview in line with CAA requirements.
