This role is ideal for a graduate level or early-career individual who is curious, motivated and keen to build practical, hands-on experience in audit and consultancy within a supportive team environment. You do not need prior experience, we provide structured training, clear guidance and ongoing support to help you build confidence and succeed in the role.
While previous audit experience is not required, the role suits someone who enjoys working with data, pays close attention to detail and takes a careful, methodical approach to their work.
Role Purpose
To support the auditing of clients’ data within the transport industry, helping to ensure accurate, complete data that is compliant with regulatory requirements. Working closely with experienced Senior Auditors, you will learn how to prepare high-quality audit files and contribute to the delivery of timely, accurate and reliable outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with and take direction from Senior Auditors, learning from them and following clear guidance on client work.
- Check client data carefully and review your own work to ensure it is accurate and complete.
- Communicate professionally with clients to request information, clarify data and respond to straightforward queries.
- Prepare and maintain well-organised audit files ready for review.
- Flag any issues or inconsistencies to Senior Auditors and help provide clear information to support decision-making.
- Assist in preparing reports and written summaries of findings from audits.
- Provide support across the wider business when needed, supporting overall team objectives, including (but not limited to) IT support, software testing and processing clients’ data on their behalf.
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changes in priorities.
Most of the work will be computer-based, using systems designed specifically for transport companies.
Development & Progression
This is an entry-level role with structured training, hands-on experience, and ongoing support from experienced auditors who will help you build confidence and capability over time. You will gain strong foundations in audit methodology, transport-sector compliance, and client delivery, with the opportunity to progress into more senior audit or consultancy roles as your experience grows, subject to performance and business needs.

- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent skills and experience. We welcome applications from candidates without a degree who can show the appropriate aptitude and approach.
- Experience of working in an office, analytical, administrative or professional services environment is preferable but not essential.
- Able to work well as part of a team and manage tasks to meet deadlines, demonstrating good time-management skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work accurately and efficiently.
