Requirements
We are looking for a driven and target-focused Credit Controller to join our fast-paced, high-energy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment and wants to build strong negotiation and communication skills. You’ll manage your own portfolio of arrears accounts, working directly with business customers to recover outstanding balances and agree sustainable repayment solutions. You’ll be supported with structured training and clear performance expectations to help you succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts in arrears
- Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and written communication
- Negotiate payment plans and drive successful debt recovery outcomes
- Work towards and exceed monthly collection targets
- Assess customer situations and apply effective collection strategies
- Accurately record all customer interactions and agreements
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Contribute to a high-performance, target-driven team culture
About You
- Experience within the fintech or wider financial services sector, particularly in a lending, brokerage, or SME finance environment in a similar role
- Target-driven mindset with a strong desire to achieve results
- Confident communicator, comfortable handling challenging conversations
