Business Development Manager Position: We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work as a leader within our Health Sector Team. Two-time winners of the Queen’s Awards for Innovation in 2018 and 2022, Informed Solutions products and services help clients accelerate and de-risk digital business change, improving customer satisfaction by creating better online experiences and transforming operational effectiveness through AI-enabled and data science-powered decision support.

As Business Development Manager you will have a key role in building trusted relationships and developing business with new clients in the healthcare sector. You will:

  • Play a role in securing enterprise-level sales within the healthcare sector at national and regional levels within public and private sector settings.
  • Lead business development efforts of the wider healthcare team, including leading on bid and proposition development.
  • In partnership with the Healthcare Sector Lead, direct and manage prospecting and new business activity through the end-to-end business development cycle from prospecting to proposal delivery.
  • Collaborate with Health Sector Leads in identifying ‘good’ business (profitable, relevant, good for our business, and good for our people).
  • Ensure a collaborative and respectful approach for team working on all business development activity through the sales cycle.
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances from across our marketplace to ensure we offer the most attractive mix of capability and capacity to our prospective clients.
  • Help to continually evolve our healthcare value propositions for both transformation services and our product lines.
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships based on trust, including negotiating and building rapport with senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain competitiveness, continually improving our market offering, and evolving our business development operating model.

Location: There is flexibility to be based out of our London or Manchester offices; however, given the nature of the role, you will need to travel to co-locate with colleagues and clients across the UK, developing strategic relationships through the appropriate combination of face-to-face and digital engagement.
