We are currently on the lookout for a passionate Machine Setter for our night shift (Sunday to Thursday) who will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our machinery during the hours most others are asleep. Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery to ensure seamless operations throughout the night.
  • Perform regular inspections and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise.
  • Monitor production output to guarantee quality standards are consistently met.
  • Document machine settings and production data accurately to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to achieve nightly targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe working environment through adherence to health and safety protocols.
Hours of Work

Sunday to Thursday: 23:00-07:30
Hourly rate of £13.17 rising to £14.23 after training

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a machine setter or in a similar production role.
  • Excellent understanding of machinery operations and maintenance, particularly in food production settings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
