Location: Glasgow
Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) / Permanent
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of strong enterprise Python experience
- Strong Experience with OOP, OOPs OR Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with modern software development practices is required, including CI/CD, Jenkins and code reviews
- Oracle backend and distributed SQL experience is required
The Gauss team works in the credit risk area, so experience in the following is a plus but not required:
- Finance
- Exposure metrics
- Collateral transactions
- Risk scoring
- Quantitative analysis
- Statistical simulations (e.g., Monte Carlo)
