Work with Vista have a superb opportunity for Deputy Manager to work within a 3 bed home based the Walton Vale area of Liverpool, providing care and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and helping them achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with our children to implement care plans and promote independence while fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities: * Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks. * Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs. * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support. * Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities. * Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs. * Drive clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. * Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes. Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable. * Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable. * Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. * Previous experience supporting children with various needs is an advantage. * A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed. * Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and reporting on client progress. Salary: £35,852 ( including sleeps paid at £50) working 40 full time permanent hours, plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities. You would only be required to work 2 shifts per week, the remainder would be office based. Shifts start at 7.30am – 10:30pm and then sleep, 7:30am handover and leave at 8am promptly, there will also be a short shift from 7:30am – 15:30pm for team meetings weekly, and you will never work a double shift over the weekend, so either Saturday or Sunday shift, never both, and a full weekend off every 3 weeks
