Byfords is currently undergoing a food revolution. The large portions of food that fill you after one course are going; newly developed, diverse dishes, with modern flair, quirky presentations and hard hitting flavours are coming in. And we are excited about where it is going.

The current kitchen equipment and set up is getting a little mature, but over the next 24 months plans are in the pipeline to bring the kitchen into a new era with new layouts, equipment and all the whistles and bells. But we need someone to come into the team and help push with the rest of brigade towards this.

Are you the chef we need? Career progression if you are ambitious. We have 3 other well-known hospitality venues in Norfolk (The Ffolkes, The Pigs, The Assembly House). We like to see our team members flourish so are always pushing for talent to get to where they want to be!

The Brand: Byfords is a 15th Century building with tonnes of character. Byfords is our founding brand within our family and has been open since 2000. We serve delicious food throughout the day and the Posh B&B that consists of 16 uniquely designed rooms and four self-catering apartments. Byfords is a fun, quirky and charming business to work for with plenty of opportunities with passionate, hard-working individuals.
