Travel Sales Executive Swansea £21000-£23500 Basic Plus commission and bonus OTE £30000 The Company This Swansea based organaisation are a family run award winning tour operator. Having grown steadily since 2001 they are now looking for 2 sales executives to join their family orientated, supportive team. This organaisation tailor make holidays, providing personalised luxury to a wide variety of locations across the world. The Role You will be responsible for developing and managing sales leads received via phone and email, supporting the sales manager and company directors with all initiatives. You will be required to achieve individual sales targets on a monthly and annual basis. You can work 4 or 5 days per week (30 or 37.5 hours) to suit. You will cover between 08:30AM to 06:30PM on a rota basis and some weekend work will also be required. Duties will include: Manage your daily workload and sales leads to ensure you achieve monthly targets Ensure that you are fully trained and competent in all business systems used and processes adopted on a day to day basis Support the overall sales strategy and ensure the tone and written communication are consistent with the sales strategy and brand guidelines across all channels Ensure that all quotes are accurate and completed on a timely basis and in line with our current sales policy Ensure you keep up to date with industry issues and travel regulations so that you are able to give relevant advice and guidance to all existing and potential customers Ensure best working practices are adopted and all relevant training is undertaken on a timely basis Ensure that you keep on top of all advertised product and live deals at any point of time to ensure we are able to deal with any enquiries as they arise Ensure we add value to all customers at every point of contact. We need to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations and make sure we give a positive impression of the company and service so that they will contact us again Provide relevant and effective travel advice to the customer using our knowledge and experience Provide effective commercial support to the business and make sure we capture as much data as possible as we provide quotes and advice to our customers Keep up to date with learning and development, ensuring current legislation, codes of practice and guidance are followed Take part in staff meetings as and when required To be responsible for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others working around you To ensure you follow the company's policies and processes with regard to GDPR, equal opportunities and discrimination Undertake any other reasonable sales duties deemed appropriate by your manager.
