Material Planner Maesteg £30 - £35k We are looking for an organised, proactive Material Planner to ensure materials and components are available when needed, while controlling stock and supporting reliable supplier performance for one of my long standing client The Role * Use EFACS MRP to plan material requirements and maintain accurate purchase orders. * Monitor stock levels, lead times and supplier schedules, taking action to prevent shortages. * Manage supplier commitments, delivery issues and performance. * Work with Production, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and Finance to meet business needs. * Analyse purchasing and inventory data, identify improvements and support cost reduction. The Person Experience in material planning, purchasing or supply chain within manufacturing, alongside knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and good Excel skills. You will be numerate, well organised and a confident communicator, able to prioritise, solve problems and build effective supplier relationships. Commercial awareness and an interest in continuous improvement are also important.
