We are looking for an organised and customer focused Hire Desk Manager to join our clients team at their Barnsley depot. You will be responsible for coordinating mobile crane hire operations, managing customer enquiries, scheduling and dispatching cranes, preparing hire documentation, supporting logistics, and ensuring a first class service from enquiry through to completion.

The Person

  • Previous experience in a hire desk, transport, plant, or crane hire environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
  • Knowledge of mobile cranes or heavy plant is desirable
