The predicted salary is between 13.5 - 13.5 £ per hour.

This engineering organisation based in Britton Ferry is currently expanding and in need of 2 new team members to operate a laser welding machine.

The position will initially be a temporary role working for Work Wales but for the right applicant could become permanent at a later stage. You will work a 40 hour week between the hours of 6AM - 5PM Monday - Friday. The company are flexible on the actual hours you work between these times.

Duties will include:

  • Fitting products ready for laser welding
  • Operating a laser welding machine
  • Ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times due to working with extremely hot products
  • Packing finished goods ready for dispatch
  • Cleaning finished goods and maintaining a tidy workspace

The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Have experience working in a production environment
  • Previous experience in a welding workshop an advantage
  • Happy to work in an engineering workshop environment
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have a keen eye for detail
