Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part‑time contract role centers on the critical assessment and improvement of AI‑generated text. Beyond simply checking boxes, you will write detailed rationales explaining your evaluations and rewrite subpar content to provide the model with better examples of human communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate multiple AI‑generated responses to the same prompt and rank them based on criteria such as helpfulness, clarity, and factual accuracy.
- Write clear, concise justifications (critiques) explaining why one response is superior to another, helping developers understand the model’s strengths and weaknesses.
- Rewrite or edit low‑quality AI responses to correct errors, improve flow, and ensure the tone matches the user’s intent.
- Verify claims made by the AI by conducting quick, accurate research to ensure the text is free of hallucinations (false information).
- Assess content for safety violations, ensuring the AI refuses to generate harmful, biased, or inappropriate material while remaining helpful.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in professional writing, editing, or content moderation.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate why a piece of writing is effective or ineffective.
- Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and semantics.
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly to verify the accuracy of the text being evaluated.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
