Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role functions as a critical quality control check for AI development. You will be responsible for meticulously assessing AI-generated text to ensure it meets high standards of fluency, accuracy, and helpfulness. You will review outputs against specific guidelines, identifying subtle errors and ranking responses to help the model learn the difference between "good" and "excellent" communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review AI-generated responses to various prompts and rate them according to strict quality rubrics (e.g., clarity, conciseness, safety).
- Identify and label specific quality issues within the text, such as logical inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, or repetition.
- Conduct fact-checking verification for claims made by the AI to ensure the model is not generating false information (hallucinations).
- Edit responses to correct grammatical errors and improve syntactic flow while maintaining the original intent of the message.
- Analyze complex comparison tasks (Side-by-Side) to determine which of two AI responses provides a better user experience and explain your reasoning.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in proofreading, copy editing, linguistics, or content moderation.
- A sharp eye for detail, capable of spotting minor errors in punctuation, capitalization, and grammar that automated tools might miss.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and follow detailed style guides and decision trees without bias.
- Strong reading comprehension skills to understand complex or nuanced user prompts.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
