Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role requires a deep understanding of the mechanics of human language. As a Linguistic Specialist, you will apply your knowledge of syntax, semantics, and pragmatics to train the AI model. You will be responsible for creating data and analyzing outputs to ensure the model captures the subtle nuances of natural language, regional dialects, and complex grammatical structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design prompts that specifically test the modelβs linguistic capabilities, such as handling ambiguity, processing complex syntactic structures, or identifying idiomatic expressions.
- Analyze AI-generated text to identify and categorize specific linguistic errors (e.g., morphological errors, syntactic agreement issues, semantic incoherence).
