Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role is dedicated to linguistic excellence. As an English Content Specialist, you will ensure that AI models produce text that is not only grammatically perfect but also stylistically natural and culturally appropriate. You will act as a guardian of language quality, refining syntax, vocabulary, and flow to help the AI communicate with the fluency of a highly articulate native speaker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and correct AI-generated text for grammatical precision, syntax errors, awkward phrasing, and unnatural word choices.
- Evaluate content for linguistic fluency, ensuring the output sounds natural and idiomatic rather than robotic or stiff.
- Adapt and correct text according to specific regional English standards (e.g., distinguishing between US, UK, and Australian spelling, vocabulary, and idioms).
- Rewrite complex or poorly structured sentences into clear, concise, and engaging English while preserving the original meaning.
- Rate and tag responses based on linguistic complexity, vocabulary range, and adherence to specific tone guidelines (formal vs. casual).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Expert-level command of English grammar, mechanics, and usage nuances.
- Experience in copy editing, proofreading, or teaching English as a first or second language is highly desirable.
- Ability to distinguish between different registers (e.g., academic, conversational, business) and regional dialects.

Location: Remote within United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand (You must be legally authorised to work in the country where you are based)
