VINCI Building are currently looking to recruit a proactive Senior Planner to support our team and projects across our Midlands region. As a Senior Planner, you will be providing robust planning support at preconstruction stage, developing tender programmes for submission documents and performing a supporting role advising our site operations teams as needed. You will be collaborating closely with our supply-chain partners to develop good-quality, logical programmes and associated work for projects on site. You will be instrumental in planning resources for projects (often in live environments) in collaboration with the other members of the project and supply chain, and in planning project-resource requirements for future workloads. You will have experience of identifying complex project issues early to reduce the impact on working programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the preconstruction planning process, including project scheduling, resource planning and identifying critical milestones.
- Develop detailed project programmes and schedules using industry-leading planning software.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, recommending contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the Design and Estimating teams to ensure buildability and optimised construction sequences.
