VINCI Building are currently looking to recruit a Senior Planner to support our teams and projects across our busy North East region. As a Senior Planner, you will be providing robust planning support at pre-construction stages, developing tender programmes for submission documents, and possibly supporting in an advisory capacity our site operations teams if needed. You will be collaborating closely with our supply chain partners to develop good quality logical programmes and associated work for projects on site. You will be instrumental in planning resources for projects (often in live environments) in collaboration with other members of the project and supply chain, as well as project resource requirements for future workloads. You will have experience of identifying complex project issues early to reduce the impact on working programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preconstruction planning process, including project scheduling, resource planning, and identifying critical milestones.
- Develop detailed project programmes and schedules using industry-leading planning software.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, recommending contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the design and estimating teams to ensure buildability and optimized construction sequences.
