Strata Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics client for an experienced Transport Manager to join their growing operation located in SR8. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally focused Transport Manager to join a fast-paced transport and logistics business where you will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.

The Role:

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of transport operations, ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can confidently manage drivers, fleet compliance, KPIs and operational planning while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all transport operations and fleet activity
  • Ensure full O Licence and transport compliance
  • Manage driver performance, training, and development
  • Lead and motivate the transport team
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance and fleet roadworthiness
  • Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport legislation
  • Improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs
