WR Fundraising Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trusts and grants fundraiser to join a growing fundraising team at a unique health charity providing outreach services across the UK to vulnerable members of the community. The charity has enjoyed a phenomenal level of growth over the past five years and is looking to add to its small fundraising team. We are on the lookout for a Trusts Fundraising Officer to maintain wonderful levels of support that the charity enjoys via trusts, grants and foundations.
You will be focussing on raising income from trusts and foundations and working collaboratively with your colleagues to develop bids for new funding opportunities for projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to be part of an experienced fundraising team, and to showcase your creativity and skills to raise crucial funds for a cause that really matters.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Writing compelling, engaging and highly tailored fundraising proposals
- Researching and developing new supporters from trusts and foundations
- Building relationships, multiyear partnerships and income from existing trusts and foundations
- Writing tailored, inspirational applications and project reports addressing grant-making priorities or requirements as specified
- Developing and maintaining reporting and application systems and coordinating information across the fundraising team
The ideal candidate for this role will be:
- Experienced writing successful fundraising applications to foundations and charitable trusts
- Able to write compelling and innovative proposals and funding reports
- Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences
- Confident developing relationships with grant-making organisations
- Highly organised, confident managing a varied and time sensitive portfolio of work
- A positive team player, flexible, adaptable, and professional
- A persuasive writer and communicator, with an enthusiastic approach to fundraising
