We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are delighted to be working on a newly created Individual Giving Manager role for a much loved animal welfare charity. In a blank canvas role, we’re looking for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to develop the income stream across multiple channels – stewarding a very loyal supporter base and implementing routes to donor acquisition. This is a newly created role and a brilliant opportunity to shape and grow individual giving at a pivotal time for the organisation.

Working closely with new fundraising and marketing colleagues, the Individual Giving Manager will review and develop existing income streams, identify new opportunities and deliver sustainable growth from individual supporters. This is a varied and strategic role, combining planning, delivery and hands-on fundraising campaign management, while working closely with colleagues and volunteers.

  • Location: Reigate & Banstead, Surrey – Onsite with limited hybrid working
  • Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
  • Requirements: A full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential

Duties

  • Developing and delivering a long-term individual giving strategy
  • Manage the day-to-day development and execution of individual giving campaigns to generate repeat gifts and grow income
  • Growing income from appeals, regular giving, lottery and donor development programmes
  • Planning and delivering multi-channel fundraising campaigns
  • Developing supporter journeys to improve retention and lifetime value
  • Using data and insight to drive performance and decision-making
  • Supporting branches with individual giving activity
  • Working collaboratively across marketing, PR and engagement activity

Ideal candidate

  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of direct marketing, database and donor acquisition, retention / development
  • Knowledge of strategies, approaches and techniques used specifically to fundraise from individual giving, using a variety of channels from digital to mail
  • Experience in managing regular giving, donor acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Experience of monitoring and analysing direct marketing campaigns
  • Experience of successfully identifying new income streams and providing strategic direction for further development
  • Ability to or experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy
  • Be confident using CRM systems and fundraising data
