We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we are thrilled to be working with an inspirational regional charity looking for a new Community Fundraising Manager to add to their high achieving team.

If you’re a fundraising officer looking to take a step up, or an experienced manager looking for a fresh challenge this newly created position is not to be missed.

The charity enjoys a wealth of local support from community groups, schools, individuals and volunteers and we’re looking for someone to manage the wonderful relationships with their supporters.

We're looking for an experienced fundraiser to be part of a re-energised community fundraising team looking to reach new heights. This is a great opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills to raise crucial funds for a high-profile cause.

You’ll have the opportunity to represent the charity with local supporters and have a genuine opportunity to bring new ideas to the Team.

Community Fundraising Manager

Full Time, Permanent

Circa £33,500 on experience

Covering East London / West Essex with Hybrid Working

Drivers Licence & Own Vehicle Required - Expenses Reimbursed

Duties will include

  • Raising the profile of the charity and deepening relationships with a range of supporters across the area
  • Work to increase the supporter base across the region and generate support through community fundraising activity
  • Support the fundraising team at events and in other fundraising activity
  • Forge links with communities, organisations, and small businesses in and around the local area
  • Provide support for special community fundraising-related projects

Ideal Candidates

  • Experience of developing community fundraising strategies, with a fresh approach and the ability to innovate
  • A track record of success in fundraising across a range of supporter groups
  • Experience in using digital platforms to increase income / awareness with supporters
  • An engaging communication style with the ability to inspire colleagues, volunteers, and supporters
  • Excellent organisation skills, managing multiple priorities, providing a high level of customer care
  • Full drivers licence essential for this role.
