We are looking for a fundraising officer to join a small team in a newly created Fundraising Officer role. Focussing on regular giving and providing amazing supporter journeys, this is the perfect role for someone looking to develop their skills within audience communication and digital fundraising. Working with an amazing management team, this role is the perfect bridging role to take you into a manager-level position.
Full Time, Permanent
Colchester, Essex with hybrid and flexible working
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits
Drivers licence and access to own vehicle essential.
Duties will include:
- Having the opportunity to contribute to the planning and implementing a long-term individual giving and legacy fundraising strategy
- Assisting with the development and implementation of donor acquisition and retention plans
- Managing targeted direct marketing campaigns
- Ensuring that effective supporter journeys and stewardship plans are in place
- Ensuring all data is properly recorded and managed through the database
- Develop effective welcome and thanking programs to enhance supporter experience
- Support the growth of income from raffles and prize-led fundraising
- Working closely with the marketing team, external agencies and freelancers to best effect
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience of working on supporter journeys, individual giving campaigns, regular giving/supporter engagement or donor acquisition/retention
- Experience of using direct marketing techniques
- The ability to be creative with an eye for design
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
