The Occupational Health Service at DBTH is looking for a driven person with a proven record of success in leading and delivering Occupational Health Services. The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead and develop the Occupational Health Service. The Occupational Health Service provides a confidential, preventative, and advisory health service for employees. The aim is to ensure that employees are fit to work and not harmed by the work they undertake. We have two departments at the Trust: one at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and the other at Bassetlaw Hospital – the role will involve some cross-site working.

Leadership and Management

  • Provide strong clinical and professional leadership, articulating and promoting a clear vision for a high-quality Occupational Health service.
  • Act as a specialist resource and professional role model for the Occupational Health team and wider organisation.
  • Lead service development, process redesign, and strategic initiatives in partnership with the Head of Occupational Health to support continuous improvement and service excellence.

Clinical and Professional Practice

  • Manage complex Occupational Health casework, practising autonomously as a specialist clinician.
  • Provide expert advice on rehabilitation, workplace risk assessment, and reasonable adjustments to support employee health and wellbeing.
  • Oversee and support the effective delivery of health surveillance, vaccination, and immunisation programmes in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
