Class 2 HGV Driver – Pallet Network Multi-Drop

Salary: £39,452 per annum Location: Welshpool, Powys (SY21 8SZ) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Welshpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking to join a well-established transport operation with a consistent Monday to Friday work pattern.

The Role

As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain and complete all required paperwork and PODs.
  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service at all times.
  • Adhere to Driver Hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am start time
  • 1 Saturday in every 4 required

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • Current Driver CPC qualification.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
