Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking for a stable role with consistent weekday work and a well-established transport operation.
The Role
As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across the local and regional network.
You will ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain delivery paperwork and electronic PODs as required.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers at all times.
- Adhere to Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean, safe, and roadworthy.

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am start time
- Minimum 40-hour contract
- Saturdays worked on a rota basis (1 in every 9)
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Current Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
