An excellent opportunity has arisen for Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling team based in Waterswallows Depot in Derbyshire.
This is a physically active, outdoor role suited to reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are comfortable working in all weather conditions.

The Role
- Collecting household and commercial waste and recycling materials
- Pulling and manoeuvring wheelie bins throughout collection routes
- Loading waste safely and efficiently onto refuse vehicles
- Working as part of a team to complete daily collection rounds
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with keeping vehicles and work areas clean and tidy
- Supporting the smooth running of waste collection operations
The Requirements
- Physically fit, as the role involves heavy lifting, walking up to 10 miles daily, and working on your feet for long periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, flexible, and hardworking
- Good team player with a positive attitude
- Awareness of health and safety and surroundings
- Own transport is advantageous due to depot location
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely
- Previous similar experience is beneficial but not essential
